This picture comes from the Krueger family photo collection. The only person I can identify is Will Krueger, Sr. You see him at the center of the table. I can't identify any of the other men.
This is a stag affair, but they are dressed in suits & ties. Maybe it's a men's fellowship outing or a fraternal organization function. The date must be sometime in the 1920s.
We have other pictures from this picnic. An annotation on the back of this one says, '5 - 1 - 21.' I can identify Hilda Rachuig Krueger on the left side of the table. I think that's her brother Walter Rachuig, Sr. on the far end of the right side. I'm sure that's Evelyn Rachuig Belcher standing in the background on the right (in the black hat). I can't identify any of the others. Any ideas?
We found this photo among the Krueger family photos. The man appears to be dressed in an army uniform (WWI vintage). The date and location are unknown. Any idea on who this is? Location or date?
This is another photo of an unknown subject. I can't really identify the house, so I can't determine which part of our extended family lived there. All I can say is they were connected to the Krueger-Rachuigs in some way. Note the snow/ice.
(Update) Mayme Rachuig Hause (my aunt) has told me this is the Krueger home on the east side of the Bosque River. This is the home they lived in before moving to the home I always knew on the west side of town.
Here's a photo of an unidentified group of family, in-laws or friends of the Krueger-Rachuig family. No idea on the date or location. Any help is appreciated. (They may be tossing horse shoes.)
I have good reason to think this photo was taken sometime in 1934, probably just before Selma was to travel to a tuberculosis sanitarium in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This photo was probably taken as her family gathered to say good-bye. Notice how sickly she looks. She died in January, 1935 of tuberculosis.
The location is her home on Hackberry Street in Clifton. The two little girls are my mother, Sally Rachuig Kelly (left) & Mayme Rachuig Hause (right). The standing adults from left-to-right are Evelyn Rachuig Belcher, Herbert Rachuig (my grandfather), Mamie Adams Rachuig (my grandmother), Julius Herman Rachuig (my great-grandfather), Hildegard Rachuig Krueger, Tobias Schulz, Alvina Beyerstedt Rachuig, Walter Rachuig (Sr.), Wilhelmina Schulz (in front of Walter) and Edgar Rachuig. Selma is the seated woman.
This photo shows Wilhelmina Schulz, her daughter Selma Schulz Rachuig, her granddaughter Hilda Rachuig Krueger and great-granddaughter Dorothy Krueger Mansur. I'm not certain of the exact date, but it must be around 1923. The location may be the Schulz home north of Clifton. I don't have any good guesses on the identity of the boy in the background.
